DOG LICENSES: All dogs
kept within the Town of Vienna, Dane County are required to be licensed.
The fees for all dogs licensed for the 2010 calendar year 1/1/10–
12/31/10 are as follows:
- Neutered Male/Spayed Female: $11.00
- Male/Female: $16.00
The Town imposes a $5.00 penalty for all dogs licensed after April 1st of the applicable year.
We will again use one dog license application form, which will allow residents the opportunity of licensing more than one dog per application. This form is located on the back of the License Info Sheet at the Vienna Town Office and is also available here at the Town’s website.
PAYMENT TERMS. The Town of Vienna requests that all dog licensing fees be paid by separate check. Please do not add your dog license fee to your tax payment. Your license can be obtained or renewed through the mail (address provided below) and your dog/s license and tag/s will be mailed to you within a few weeks of receipt.
RABIES VACCINATION: If If you wish to apply for a new license or renew your dog/s license and your dog’s rabies vaccination shot is expired, you are required by the State to provide the Town with a valid rabies vaccination certificate prior to the issuing of the license. This rabies vaccination certificate must include: date of shot, expiration date, manufacturer, serial number, tag number of the rabies shot and sex of dog. Your veterinarian may fax this information to the Town at 846-3829 or it must be enclosed with your payment.
If your dog’s rabies vaccination shot is not expired when applying for your license you do not need to provide a certificate and you will only need to complete the application as a renewal and enclose the appropriate fee.
When applying for a new dog license please enclose the valid rabies vaccination certificate described above and the appropriate fee.
