WHEREAS, the Town of Vienna owns and maintains a town park known as Wheeler Park; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of public welfare and safety, protection of the public property, and general public good to restrict the use of the park to reasonable hours.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Town Board of the Town of Vienna, Dane County, Wisconsin, does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. RESTRICTION
OF HOURS.
No person may enter, use, or remain in any town park in the Town of Vienna
between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., for any purpose, without
the written consent of the Town Board of the Town of Vienna.
SECTION 2. PENALTY.
Any person violating this Ordinance shall be fined not less than $10.00
and not more than $200.00 for each offense, plus the costs and disbursements.
In default of payment of the above forfeiture, plus costs and disbursements,
the person convicted shall be confined to the County Jail until such forfeiture,
plus costs and disbursements, has been paid, not to exceed thirty (30)
days.
SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE.
The foregoing Ordinance shall be deemed to be in force and effect from
and after its passage, approval, posting, publication and recording, according
to law.
