Conclusions: »COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT • All new commercial development and 95% of all existing commercial development in the Town of Vienna will be located within the 350 acre Vienna commercial district surrounding the I-90/94 & CTH V Interstate-Highway exchange near the Village of DeForest. • The entire Vienna commercial district has full urban service designation, is within the MMSD service district, and within the Town of Vienna Utility District boundaries • The entire Vienna commercial district is now served or can and will be served with natural gas, public water, and public sewer • In 2002 a major 8,000,000 interchange improvement was completed- featuring a four lane highway (with additional turn lanes) throughout the commercial district, a new six lane bridge, and stop and go lights at intersections with CTH V and CTH I • At this time only about 20% of the commercial area is developed. |
