AN ORDINANCE TO REQUIRE VOTER REGISTRATION FOR ALL PERSONS VOTING WITHIN THE TOWN OF VIENNA
The Town Board of the Town of Vienna, Dane County, Wisconsin, as allowed by Wis Stats §6.27 do hereby ordain as follows:
All qualified electors of the Town of Vienna are required to register to vote by completing and signing a voter registration form in accordance with Stats § 6.33 prior to being issued a ballot for any official elections held within the Town of Vienna. This requirement shall begin and be applicable to the first official public election held within the Town of Vienna after December 31, 2002.
This Ordinance shall become effective upon its publication in the official newspapers of the Town of Vienna.
The above and foregoing Ordinance was duly adopted at a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Vienna on the 18 day of November, 2002.
